Restaurant Pof

I'm so happy we found this place. Pretty vegan and vegetarian dishes to share, all with local ingredients. All in the loveliest location in the middle of urban farming project NoordOogst in an old local sports park. I think we had all of their vegan plates and it was a great combination. They offered to serve the potatoes vegan as well, with apple compote instead of mayonaise. Most of the vegetables come from their grill and taste so so good. Cooked to perfection with that nice grilled smoky flavor. Loved to see even all of their wines are from the Netherlands, and they had two interesting kombucha's that you don't see around very often. It's fun and inspiring to walk around the premise here and have a look inside their veggie gardens. Chill vibe with a huge field in front of their terrace. Small surprise, they get their beer from the brewery that lives under the restaurant itself. Staff was very passionate about their products and the place itself. Such a great experience here.

Original, tasty and good value. Not a vegetarian restaurant, but very vegetable-forward, with lots of vegan and vegetarian choices. A relaxed, spacious and well-lit restaurant (which is a big change from most downtown Amsterdam restaurants.). We stopped because it was close by our bike ride to Het Twiske and it had a high score on Google maps reviews. We had a roasted carrot sandwich and a green radish salad and were not disappointed.

Nice restaurant with great atmosphere. We've eaten vegetarian, because the only meat served was pork and that happens to be my least favorite. But the vegetarian dishes were all very creative and very tasty. They only serve Dutch wine, which is a mistake in my opinion. I've tried the wine tasting with 4 different wines and they were all very poor. Don't come here for the wine. It's just really bad. But the rest I can recommend!

August 2022 The concept is amazing, the produce from own land is also out of this world. Rest (not from their land) is local with the exception of some coffee beans. The quality of the dishes could be a bit better. I expected a little more. The cauliflower with the hazelnuts was my favourite. We couldn't order anything besides the menu ... That was weird. The attending waitress made up for the kitchen in getting eventually what we would like. She was the best. They should treasure here...
